Dream #4 - 2014

Had a dream that I and a bunch of other people I knew had to ride a school bus to get somewhere. Can not remember it all for the life of me, but I do remember an old crush and I sharing a room somewhere for some reason. My mind can be real creepy.

May 18th

Hey friends!! I hope you are all doing well! I do miss you all.  Please don't forget you're able to e-mail me or anything if you want to talk.  I have wifi in Toronto, so I can get back to you fast. My e-mail is on my fascebook hehe

Anyways, the last couple days have definitely been an eye opening experience!! It's kind of confidential so I'm not really allowed to post what exactly I've been doing lol.  I know that sounds kind of lame, but it's in my contract and believe me, I would love to tell you all. hehe Basically I've done a lot of power points and learning about my job and all the things it entails. lol  Definitely an inside look into Disney and it's characters.   Hmmm  Our cast is split up into main stage performers, meaning people who do the stage shows as singers, dancers, actors, comedians etc.  Then there's Character Performers.  Our job is more of a secret, no one is allowed in our rehearsal room and everyone is wondering what in the world we are doing. hehe  We get to do special events as characters as well as be in some of the stage show we offer on the Cruise ships.  

Our days are pretty long.  Lately we start at 10, but have a mandatory warm up at 9:30.  Then we go into character training.  Some times it's a power point, other times its actual getting up and being active.  Then Lunch starts around 1:30/2ish and is an hour long.  Then we go back and continue character training and end at 6 pm. That is pretty much my day this first week.  Our day off is on Sunday, definitely looking forward to that day. :) Except this sunday I have to finish a couple papers for finals.  

umm Well I have done a lot of bonding with my cast. One of the many things we did was going to the Blue Jays  game and wore my World Series Giants shirt. The stadium is literally a 5 to 10 min. walk from where we live.  lol The game was very interesting.  It was kind against the Yankees.  A fan actually ran on the field, but tripped and didn't make it too far. lol What else has happened...?  Just a lot of hanging out in each others room. It's pretty fun hanging out with them. :)

Day One

Hey everyone!!

Day one was amazing!! It started off with a tour of the CBC Building. Then we went into the Disney portion of the building.  It was AMAZING, it's so beautiful! We did a circle up and introductions.  We have a large cast of many different people from everywhere.  So far, everyone is pretty cool. After meeting everyone we went into a warm up.  We then learned a "Disco" number which was very groovy and fun.  After learning a couple 8 counts they put us into groups of 3 and accessed us, basically we auditioned again.  After that, we learned another number from "villains tonight".  That was a more technical, fast paced dance which I really enjoyed doing.  Again one we learned that, we got into groups of 3 and they accessed. After that, they had all the characters stay in the room and we once again learned a dance.  and auditioned again.  The character dance I kinda messed up in, but thats ok.  It was more of a simple dance but with big movements.  

Next we did Spanish Web work.  That was AMAZING!! They had all of us climb up and down.  Then if we wanted to we got to do some poses while getting spun around.  I didn't want to stop!!! Then we broke for lunch.  After lunch, all the characters did a meeting with the one who is watching us and how important our job is for the company.  We are basically there heart and soul.  The last thing we did was singing assessments.  yah, wasn't too good for me but I tried.

Now I'm about to go eat and then get ready to go out.   You know me, who needs sleep! haha Joke lang, we have tomorrow off.  Well have a nice night, I miss you all!!
