if requests are closed then you should close the ask box, 80% of tumblr are people who don't know how to read the fine print
I used to close the ask box, but then people couldn’t talk to me unless they went through fan mail. I use the ask box for things other than requests, so if tumblr people don’t wanna read the 4 different places it says I’m not accepting requests (“fine print”?), they can get logged in my tag so I can keep track of these people for later
