It really makes me wonder can't people really understand what "Requests are closed" mean... Or are they just hoping to be special or to annoy.

I think some people just get so excited they ignore/forget about everything else…I mean, it’s not 100% accurate, but for some of them I at least have a hunch.

if requests are closed then you should close the ask box, 80% of tumblr are people who don't know how to read the fine print

I used to close the ask box, but then people couldn’t talk to me unless they went through fan mail. I use the ask box for things other than requests, so if tumblr people don’t wanna read the 4 different places it says I’m not accepting requests (“fine print”?), they can get logged in my tag so I can keep track of these people for later

I know that requests are closed, but when they open, can you splice mega alakazam and machamp?

Somebody explain this logic to me because this is easily the 10th time this has happened.
