Destination... Home it is.
TLDR; Milreaf takes care of Alil some more and asks if he has someone to take him home safely.
“I’m.. not some little kid… I don’t need watching after…”
"O-Oh, I'm sorry, Sir Alil...that's not what I meant at all...you just look so tired...I thought you might fall over at any moment."
Milreaf thought about how he looked so sapped of energy. What had possibly happened? She could hardly guess before she noticed his face splat into the pie.
She was already right next to him to begin with, but as she nervously looked around as some of the table mates were debating on leaving, had already left, or were still eating... Grabbing one of the sanitary hand wipes, she carefully raised Alil's head back, then ripping open the packet the get rid of all the sticky and crumbly substance on his face.
"He's still tired..." she thought to herself. It was unlike hosting, she had to admit. Where the patrons were tired from work, but Alil was tired as a whole. As if something was gone. Deciding that it was unsafe for him to put his head on the table, she carefully undid the shawl around her shoulders. Folding it gently, she placed Alil's head on it gently. It was rather soft and comfortable, hopefully much more comfortable than the table itself.
She looked over to the servant who had their water pitcher taken by Lemmy, directly behind her.
"Lady Milreaf...is Sir Lemmy alright? He took my water pitcher and splashed it over his head."
"Oh, he must've gotten flustered and wanted to cool down. He does this often, don't worry."
He nodded and was about to leave, before she asked for him to stay.
"Will you take Sir Alil's gift bag and replace it with some desserts? I know it's the end of the night and all. But, he doesn't seem like he should go to the resort. But he's fond of sweets, so he could eat it when he gets home, after some rest of course."
The server was a little shocked at how calm she had gotten, especially when she was so angry before. But he noticed the worry in her eyes and agreed to take the bag and replace it.
(She's petting his head, if anyone is asking)
Taking a pen and paper out, she begun to write a small note for the bag, to replace it with the note that Lemmy had written earlier.
Sorry to make you feel that you were a child. It was not of my intent at all. I baked these sweets when I was cooking for dinner, but since they're extras....you're free to have them. I hope you'll feel much better soon!
Noticing that Alil still wasn't stirring, she tapped him gently on the shoulder.
"Sorry to awaken you, but I think you should go home and rest. You don't look like you should go home by yourself. Is there anyone I can contact to take you home safely?"
