THESE TWO!!! OH BOY OH BOY THESE TWOOO!!!! You don't know how long I've wanted to yap about them!!!! HoohoHOOOOOO do I have LORE for them!!!
So let's start with the gun show daddy-o himself, WPNZ!
now as previously established, WPNZ made a wish with Puzzles and Toomp, his was for his family to be happy (because of course the letter wasn't enough.. he gets better tho dw). Now I'm sure your wondering why he's dressed like he came out of a western or something.. well let's just say I got a biiiiiit inspired by Laika (the game, not the studio.. or the dog), but if you want something deeper and cooler; he's meant to sort of look like a bandit, someone who's always on the move, always running and being stealthy.
Despite the looks and constant mystique, he's actually pretty chill and a bit of a wisecrack, always knowing how to make others laugh. And, being quite literally built for battle, he can be a real fighter when the stakes get high.
His relationship with Puzzles is a bit.. err.. rocky.. with the years of looping the same dream over and over it managed to drive him a little mad, as every chance to ask him why he was doing this or what's wrong always ended up dashed the moment it all resets, and it only worsened when their worlds separated. Despite this, he still deeply cares for Puzzles as he had in his waking life, even when he tries to deny it.
His only companion throughout this endless endeavor was Toomp, but even he would go off and do his own things, but that doesn't mean he was not always there to ground and support him.
Speaking of Toomp..
Toomp is.. alot.
In my lore, Toomp came along with Puzzles and WPNZ when they were closing the anomalous rift (an idea courtesy of @starteas ), he jumped in at the last minute and joined them in the endless void. While no one knew what his wish was, one could only imagine the worst..
Toomp mostly serves as the support, not just for WPNZ, but others too, though he's not just the cute and possibly demonic blob he makes himself out to be, as his turn of the loop reveals he's actually quite the philosophical vagabond. Then again it also gave him telepathy powers and reveals his voice and way of thinking is akin to Sora from the KH fandubs (seriously, go watch the dub and TELL ME I'M NOT CRAZY.)
So, overall, these two are just.. I love them. Even if it took me months of several delays to figure out their designs.

Maybe if Puzzles knew how much people loved and cared for him, if he knew how many he'd hurt just by his own sacrifice, he'd feel guilty about it, even if it was the right thing to do..
Maybe he'd cry too.
But on a happier note, I'm glad your all enjoying this AU, I've thought about expanding on the IHNDsAIMSs side of it more since I haven't really done much with it, but I hope this AU brings as much comfort to all of you as it has for me ^u^

Designing jammies for this guy is hard because all of them are so good and are very high in cuteness appeal (yes I am aware of that, and it is very intentional) But GOD DAYUM. IS IT HARD!!!
