Looking at record label internships/placements in London.
“‘Music’ experience (personal or professional) and a knowledge of working in an office environment is preferable.” TOTALLY DO-ABLE. I have to apply in about 6 months to a year! They go through a 6 month consideration process. Which is kind of scary, man. They could like you at first and then change their mind. BUT it could go the other way around, so that's good. Ideally, I’d like to be liked and considered the whole 6 months, haha.
Honestly, if they took me on as an intern, they don’t even need to pay me. I would HAPPILY work for free. Being around record label people I admire/experience in the music industry > getting paid, any day. I mean they probably have to pay me, there's probably a work contract or something. Honestly, I would work for free, though. Especially if I get a position at a place like Fiction. My favourite record label. Holy. Cow.
