celebrating the holidays on tumblr a little differently this year. in the past, i haven’t done a whole lot through my rp blogs to celebrate, and this year i wanted to change that. and what better way than to shine some light on the handful of rp partners i’ve had over the last 4 years that have made my time here so much better than it could’ve ever been without them?

First off BLESS THIS WOMAN for indulging me in two of my main fanon ships and giving me the chance to play them out, even if things are slow going these days. Without this girl I wouldn’t be nearly as much of Naval Beauty trash as I am and just ugh our babies and all their babies and THEY MAKE ME SO HAPPY OKAY. And this isn’t even including my lonesome Liam II/Gideon ship that literally no one else would give a shit about if I hadn’t latched onto it last season. Just. Bless Lessa for indulging me and being such a wonderful rp partner.

Never. Liam hasn’t dealt with much magic in his life-- not until they get to Mysterious Island, anyway-- but the only magic he would ever willingly deal with is Light magic. Dark/wicked magic will never be an option for him.

- Do you think you'd be a protective parent or a relaxed parent?

Neither, because Liam has no intention of ever becoming a parent.

But, as an uncle, he’s definitely the relaxed type. Evie is the only kid he’s extremely protective of, but the rest of his nieces and nephews he leaves to their parents to watch them. If anyone needs him, he’ll be there, of course, willing to listen, but that’s about it.

Despite the less than pleasant childhood that Liam had, he doesn’t have any triggers that would bring up past traumas. Now that the whole Brennan/Killian thing has been resolved, anyway.

Liam is not a religious person by any means. Religion was never a part of his childhood before he lost his parents, and Nemo was never one to force any sort of beliefs onto the men he brought into his crew.

iolite: my muse's drinking habits

Before Storybrooke, the only things Liam drank regularly were water and wine-- primarily water. He doesn’t drink wine too often, and very rarely in excess. In Storybrooke, he slowly broadens his horizons and definitely starts drinking juices more often, but that’s about the only difference.

Though, the first time Killian offered him rum, he nearly spat it back out because the taste (and strength) was almost too much for him, much to Killian’s amusement.

kyanite: an anger headcanon

Liam doesn’t get angry often, but when he does, it’s explosive. More in the sense of he gets angry, goes off on whoever-- or whatever-- pissed him off, and then he’s cooled down again. But that doesn’t mean he’s gotten over whatever the cause was that easily. His reaction is immediate and loud, but the lingering response tends to simmer for a long time until he has the chance to do anything about it.

Headcanon symbols | status: accepting (repeats welcome)

Being a sailor and part of a structured crew, Liam’s scruffy, and probably rather mangy days as an orphan morphed into a well kept appearance. Tidy, clean, and presentable. The Nautilus might not be part of any formal Navy, but procedure and expectations still exist aboard the submarine. The only part of Nemo’s dress code that Liam refused to adhere to was in keeping his hair short. The two came to an agreement that, if Liam were to willingly cut his hair every six or so months (and keep it out of the way when it became long enough), he’d be allowed to grow it out.

None of these habits disappear in verses where he stays in (or returns to) Storybrooke, though there could very well be times when he goes longer than six months without a haircut.
