What was really touching for me in this episode was that each one of them found his own people to call family too. I loved seeing Killian watching Liam reunite with the person who has become his true family in life, and stepping outside only to see his own true family waiting for him.

biggest: learn to read. smallest: eventually find a job in storybrooke

biggest: does make a life for himself in storybrooke count? he doesn’t really have any other long term goals.
Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress
casual & comfortable. when he’s not in his uniform, it’s usually jeans, t-shirts, flannels & sweaters or jackets when it’s colder. no rituals other than the basic, pants first then shirt.
Favorite beverage?
coffee. he definitely becomes addicted to it in storybrooke. it’s bad. his s/o might need to keep an eye on him.
What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
mostly what he has going on the next day, a mental run through of his plans. if the day had been a busy/eventful one, he might reminisce a bit, but he’s rarely awake long enough once he’s in bed to do much thinking.
Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?
chicken pox just before his mother died, & there was certainly a scare at first, thinking he might’ve caught the same plague she had. luckily, the pox made itself known quickly & while he suffered a bit as all kids do with it, he pushed his way through it without too much complaint. it helps having a nurse for a mum.

There’s a small breath of relief as Todd hears the men move away from the door and their voices fade. All the same he waits several more minutes until he dares open the door.
He’s slipped out and looking for the captain before he realizes it, being carefully quite on which doors to open. It’s the seventh or eighth one when he sees the man again.
“You know I’ve spent over 30 years in this town, I can help you with whatever you’re looking for.”
liam nearly jumps when the door opens & todd appears from behind it. “i don’t want your help,” he insists, quickly glancing away from the boy as he paces around the cabin. “why didn’t you leave with your father like i told you to?” he knows why. knows how stubborn todd is when he wants to be. knows that they boy isn’t going to leave until he gets answers for liam’s sudden chance in mind about the pirate.
