Emma tilted her head from side to side in debate, lifting her own shot. “If you’re waiting for an unselfish fuck-buddy, you’re gonna be waiting a while, princess.” She tossed the drink back. “And if you’re looking for more than that...” She hesitated, her finger tracing the rim of the glass.
Of course, she’d had a very long time just being another of the selfish parties out for a quick night of comfort, maybe she was just jaded. “Well, at least you’re in a town full of princes and fairy tales, I guess.” She half-smiled at Belle.

“Go let Belle in, please. I’m a little busy in here and Killian’s in the shower.” The warning look Liam gave him was enough for the boy to sigh in defeat and head towards the front door; papa would’ve scolded him thoroughly if he’d left someone standing outside their home because he was being a brat.

But, given it’s something that Emma wants as well, he would be beyond happy to have a biological child of his own. Family is everything to him, and being a father (in any capacity) is something he’s wanted for a very long time.

💢 - What frustrates your character more than anything?
When one person tries to take away another’s agency, no matter who it is. Having grown up as a slave with no freedom or choices, seeing someone else’s stripped of theirs is the quickest way to piss him off and seek retaliation.
Emma stood behind the bars that the Dark One had placed her behind and watched the approaching brunette with curiosity. “Who are you? Is this a trick?” She moved back quickly, not trusting whatever was on the tray the woman carried. Poison? Why was their another person in the Dark Castle?

It was the middle of the night when their bedroom door was quietly pushed open and tiny feet shuffled across the carpeted floor. Clutching tightly to his stuffed bear, Dylan tried as best he could to climb onto Belle’s side of the bed without waking either of his parents, and slid beneath the covers next to her. Even curled up safely next to his mother, Dylan’s little shoulders shook from the remnants of the nightmare he’d just woken from.

His first, impulsive thought was ‘no shit’, but at least Liam knew better than to let something like that slip free. It’s not like he’s mad at Belle, really, just….surprised. And perhaps a bit more wary of what had been developing between the pair of them. It was one thing to start dating someone his little brother’s age, but for Belle to be even younger than that? It certainly altered things some.
