"Dr. Moreau..." Dodge is breathless as he staggers up to the door of the doctor's office, one ink-stained hand shooting out to catch himself from falling. He feels heavy, as if the city itself is dragging at his every step, trying to make him collapse. "Something is wrong. The medicine, it's not working."

“I feel that I could not live my life without my powers, they make my little day chores so much easier” Fawna mused as she looked over the busy city below. “They make up so much of who I am and I am thankful that I was landed with them, where I know so many of my colleagues are not. You must remember they are part of your spark” The red head sighed contently “Can I help? I’m due on patrol in the next hour.”

"Y'know what, I'll say it... that shit could've been an email."

Seth comes to lean in the doorway to Adonis's office, his oversized clothing and lazy, loose-limbed manner making him seem more scarecrow than man. The doctor didn't invite him here, but Seth has the benefit of his office being at the far end of the corridor... there's no guilt in his tendency to stop in any open door he finds along the way back, a cocksure alley cat trotting himself into the business of his fellow councilors and sniffing around for something interesting. Adonis is his victim this time, and though he knows that the clock is ticking before he's firmly, politely dismissed, he tries at conversation anyway.

"Pretty crazy stuff we're dealing with here, huh? Everyone's mutation shoved under a cup and switched all around... like one of those games buskers get tourists to play so they can make a quick credit, right?"

Things between them are never sunshine and rainbows, but this time takes on a peculiar darkness as Seth seizes Marton by the shoulder and tosses him forward, advancing to pin him to the counter before he can retreat. "Hold still, baby," he growls low into Marton's neck, an attempt at soothing flirtation that only comes out as intense as he feels... restless, agitated, itching from some infernal need to propagate. At least he manages a few clumsy kisses before stretching open his jaw, mouthing whatever bare skin he can find with faintly-fanged teeth. "I've got something for you."

"Baby, I've been looking for you everywhere," Seth growls as he takes up the front of Ezra's shirt in a fist, pressing him back against the nearest wall and teething at his neck and collarbone. He's itching to plant his kiss but he opts for recreation first this time, hungry for Ezra's particular brand of attention. "What, you finally decide to wash off all that inky shit and go au natural?"

For once, Seth is the one coming around at odd hours: it's a good bit past midnight when he stalks up into the shadows of Alvie's front steps, marched forward through exhaustion by thousands of gnashing mouths. They don't sleep, he supposes, or maybe it's because there's no discernable light cycle inside a body and they do their resting as the need seizes them... either way, it's mostly a mixture of human and parasitic longing that's brought him here, though he is mildly curious to see how Alvie is faring through all this.

He raps a rhythmic tune on the door with sharp, tattooed knuckles, allowing very little time for response before whistling through it. "Alviiieeee~" he calls in his laziest drawl. "Babydoll, let's grab a bite, huh? I got something extra special for you."

"Start talking, Shaw." Dodge is past the point of cold, quiet anger: by the time he's found Ezra, rage tenses his entire body and rolls off his ichor-drenched skin in a steam like sweat. He's drawn up to full size as he advances on the (ex?) mutant, bristling, his rows of sharp, shining teeth bared. "What did you do to me?!"
