Now, Allen was used to waking up in unfamiliar places at this point — but this really had to take the cake. Spirale was a massive, sprawling city full of bits and pieces that seemingly belonged to other worlds. He was used to turning a corner and finding the scenery abruptly turned into something different than the block behind him.
But something about this place felt like it did not belong in Spirale, somehow. It seemed like... A restaurant of some sort? Like one of the more 'modern' establishments he's seen in the city. He ignores the way something inside him twists with painful familiarity at anything that's remotely 'modern' in appearance.
Pointedly looking away from the face looking back at him from the windows and glass doors, he focuses his attention on the shadows clinging to further inside the restaurant. The shadows didn't bother him. He could see perfectly fine with his left eye.
"Hello?" He calls out, taking a tentative step forward. "Is anyone here? I think I'm a bit lost..." Also hungry, but the restaurant seemed like it was closed, so.
