1. Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach of creating and distributing relevant and valuable content to attract, acquire, and engage a clearly defined and understood target audience – with the objective of driving profitable customer action.
2. The customer journey is how a customer becomes aware of your brand, their interactions with your brand–and beyond. The buying cycle is basically the research what brands and products fit their needs and wants.
This is relevant to content marketing strategy as this is the information that business want to gather to define and understand their target audience. The company's want to know how customers interact and do research about their brand.
3. It is necessary to consider content creation in terms of short campaign bursts, ongoing delivery and engagement. The organization's content requirements and objectives should determine the structure of the content teams. There are many models that constantly evolve, so investments in researched about what would be the most suitable and beneficial approach for the organizations are necessary.
The following two examples are possible approaches: Stock and flow which refers to assets that require investments and age well, and Destination and distributed thinking, which is creating content that engages with your target audience in spaces they are already active in.
