This interview was done almost three years to the dey. On November 2 2018. I met up with @drebarrs one of Toronto's top underground musical artist. We sat down to touch on his upbringing and the impending case that was hanging over his head. The plan was to release this interview once he goes to trial so his fans/supporters can come to court to stand with him as he faces an uncertain future. Unfortunately, it did not pan out as we hoped. The pandemic happened and the courts were moved online and to be quite honest, I lost contact with him since his incarceration back on August 28 2019. I know he recently had his trial and was found guilty and am not certain how much time he is looking at. Nevertheless, I decided to release the interview todey because while he was free. Dre Barrs aka The Gully Demon usually dropped music on Halloween and this interview is for all the fans/supporters that appreciate his work. I hope you all can get more familiar with Dre through this conversation between two fathers who are at different end of the spectrum of this "street life" we wholehearted committed to. Once he gains his freedom again, I hope to sit down with a wiser man as I had to become through the prison sentence I did.
