Monk selfies, and endless fun! Our Monk brothers were teaching us how to paint with Sand, just as they do when making their beautifully detailed Sand Art Mandala. It has been an incredible honor for Yoga Tree to have these monks visiting all week. They are still here today and throughout the weekend. It was incredible and honestly magical to watch them as they work through making their sand mandala artwork. The teamwork , patience, and dedication that they show through their artwork is breathtaking. And being a bystander and watching the progress is just amazing. Last night, as they were helping us to learn how to use the technique of sand painting, it was proven to look much easier than it really is! LOL. Elijah is absolutely in love with them, and being together to meditate and chant has been an experience of a lifetime and something that I will forever cherish. It brings me back to the days of when I was a child my parents exposed me to such beautiful ways of life. I never get tired of spending time with such beautiful beings!
