Shifting Motivation

To shift is to make a sandwich. You find a PB and J recipe online. You don't have no peanut butter? You improvise with another spread. You don't like any jelly? You improvise with the stuff you have. You have no idea what you're doing, and the sandwich you're making is completely different from what you see online. In the end, you might not have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but you still have a sandwich that you made based on what you had and liked.

I Think I Shifted..?

Okay, so this actually happened like yesterday― but anyways, I'm literally dying on the inside―

So I have an alarm clock. And yesterday, I was supposed to wake up for school at 7:00AM. Cool beans, didn't think much of it.

And the same night, I go to sleep and wake up to an alarm that goes off at 6.

I put 7AM on the alarm. I am 1000% sure I did.

Yet being the sleep-deprived idiot I am, I just slapped the snooze on the alarm and went back to sleep.

Like, I shifted. I literally shifted.

And I was checking my alarm when I woke up again, and it showed an alarm at 7.

I could've woken up in a different reality, but I slept through it again...

Welp, time to get back to shifting ig...

Some Context: So basically, I decided to look into some other spiritual stuff yesterday, and I found out that we could use Pokémon cards in channelling.

So I took some cards from my massive card deck and tried doing some random shit (cuz I haven't really learned how to do a proper tarot card reading).

And I was just like: Y'know what, I'ma ask Barbatos something.

So I don't know if this was channelling, tarot card reading, or some random other thing, but I asked my question anyway.

And I flipped three cards from the top of the deck.

One of them was Kirlia. The description on the bottom was: "It has a psychic power that enables it to distort the space around it and see into the future," and another was Samurott: "One swing of the sword incorporated in its armour can fell an opponent. A simple glare from one of them quiets everybody."

Like, is that not a sign from him?!

But me, being the skeptic I am, dismissed it as a coincidence. I flipped three more cards.

One of them was Diagla. LIKE HOW IS "It has the power to control time. It appears in Sinnoh-region myths as an ancient deity," NOT FROM BARBATOS?!

But like I'm tired af and really want to go to sleep...

I had a dream about my DR yesterday, which I'd count as progress BUT STILL― I'm feeling pretty bummed out about shifting in general...

Someone send some motivation in the comments, I think a lot of us (and me... mostly me) need some rn lmao―

Channelling Question?

Is this channelling, or is my brain just too tired or something?

This is a storytime, but yeah, I kinda need a bit of clarification lmao―

So recently, I may or may not have channelled Solomon from Obey Me?

I don't know if I actually channelled him or not, since this happened before I even knew what channelling was in the first place lol―

So I was lying on my bed trying to affirm and shift.

And my mind drifted to my Obey Me DR, which was where I was planning on shifting to.

And then I was like 'Wait, what am I missing? Why does it feel so hard for me?'

And then I HEARD HIM― wait, not actually hearing him, but more like... he was speaking to me via thoughts? I don't actually hear him, but it's like a completely different strand of thoughts that I'm pretty sure I wasn't making, and it "sounded" like Solomon.

Yeppers, Solomon from Obey Me.

I didn't know why he was there, but I was like, "Hello, please help me, I'm getting really frustrated," or something like that.

And he was telling me all these tips:

Why am I affirming for something I already have?

Why am I asking for help on something I already know how to do?

Etc., etc. And he also told me the others are waiting for me.

So I was really confused, like what the hell was even happening― but I was like "Uhh... thanks, Magic Man."

And he was laughing and was like: You're an interesting one.

AND I WAS SO WEIRDED OUT, like what the fuck?!

But I tried talking to him again, but he didn't answer, so I was just lying there on my bed in the middle of the night while staring at the ceiling and questioning my existence.

Was it just the fact that I was so tired and I hallucinated that, or was it like... actual channelling? 'Cause I don't know how to properly channel, since I've never really looked into that before.

My Ability in my BSD DR (Original)

Name: The Land of Darkened Dreams

So basically, I have the ability to morph into any horror entity of my choosing. I gain the abilities, behaviours, and skill sets of the entity I choose to morph into.

Depending on the entity, my ability can also morph my surroundings, like an illusion― a living nightmare. For my surroundings, however, they are just illusions― meaning they aren't tangible (so Dazai can't nullify them without touching me physically lmao)

I feel like this would work so well, though, since we already know everyone's fears and have a whole lot of horror entities at our disposal (like Slenderman, etc.)

This is just an ability I came up with to use for my BSD DR lmao―
