Drift Around
The journey begins anew with more drifting, following new feelings and intuitions, wherever they may lead.
Even though photography is seen as a record of the past, while planning and composing the shot, there is an element of expectation of the future, that you know what it will look like (perhaps you are waiting for the sun to break through the clouds). William S. Burroughs has spoken about this aspect of photography, “I was taking pictures not of the face as it is but as it will be in a few seconds. I was photographing the so-called future. This could only mean that the future is already photographed and prerecorded.”
