Torres healing is peculiar, usually the sustained damage is fatal/enough close to send him into a catatonic state where he'll just have basic defensive functions while strings of void energy "sew" him back together. Like a doll, basically.

If, unfortunately, he's conscious during that and has obtained a massive injury, it'll be /agonizing/. Lettie teaches him to focus and transform partially the pain later on after they meet.

Sometimes the void takes your sibling and then when you are back out your own mental prison you have 1) your sister back half turned in a void angel that tries to murder you the moment you set foot on the space ship she's been stuck on the whole time bc the weird wall guy didn't take her w the rest of the kids 2) a younger looking version of you that's extremely stuck up, overworks himself to exhaustion and treats you coldly but 3) a (not depicted here) younger version of your sister that's a feral gremlin but at least you can hang out with chill.
