Red String of Fate
73. Our muses are destined to fall for each other in an art gallery
"So you like Monet?"
Lucas turned around upon hearing the question. And was met with a man that had a scar, a smile on his lips. He didn't look like he was seeking any trouble so he dropped his guard and replied. "Uh... sure."
The man's eyes dulled a bit. "Eh, he's alright." Stepping closer to the painting to get a better look, he sighed. "My answer's pretty biased since I like Andy Warhol. Y'know, the soup cans guy?" A soft chuckled followed.
What a strange guy, casually striking up small talk with a stranger. "I've heard of him." he replied, not sure where this conversation was going exactly. "I never understood that soup cans thing." Lucas ran careful fingers through his hair, making sure not to mess it up. What was he doing in an art museum again?
"It's because that's all he ate-- that soup." came the answer, along with a wink. "My name's Lu Han, by the way."
Huh? "What?"
"Lu Han. That's my name, silly." That smile. He wouldn't mind seeing it everyday-- woah, woah. You just met the guy, calm down.
"Lucas... I'm Lucas." he replied after gathering his thoughts.
"There's a real interesting sculpture over there." Lu Han jerked his thumb over his shoulder. "Wanna go see it with me?"
He didn't have anything better to do. "Sure, why not?" A smile.
And Lu Han couldn't help but think his smile was charming.
Pretty please.

36. Our muses get jobs as mascots at Disney World.
He swears, if one more sticky-handed child tackles him, he’s going to rip off this goddamn chipmunk mask and scream until he’s red in the face— which wouldn’t take long in this heat.
He sighs, glancing over at the other chipmunk costume clad male beside him, who seems to be facing the same problem as a little girl approaches him. She’s seemingly harmless and adorable, but the Micky Mouse popsicle in her hand screams otherwise.
He watches with utter amusement as she wraps her arms around Lucas, successfully dragging her dripping mess of a treat across the side of his costume. Even though he can’t see the elder male’s face behind the mask, he knows it has to be priceless.
He’s completely enjoying the moment until she approaches him as well, and it’s then that he thinks of how lucky it is that the other male’s laughter is muffled by his mask…
Blue sticky gunk matting the fur of his costume— don’t these people realize that they’re responsible for the messes their children make? But he can only pat her head in return, sharing a long look with his friend beside him.
Maybe concessions would be better suited for them.
Wanderlust.
17. Our muses want to throw themselves into a festival and soak in the atmosphere of the processions and stalls
"Isn’t the Dano festival coming up soon?" Lu Han asked from the couch he was lounging on, laptop resting on his… well, lap. Both had decided they wanted to go to a festival and just… get really involved and enjoy all the cultural significance and whatever you did at a festival like that.
"We should go to that. Sounds fun, right? We get to wash our hair and eat food." He grinned at the thought. Usually, he wasn’t one for these kinds of things. They seemed so… ridiculous, believe it or not. "So you up or that? Or do you want to wait until the Yudu festival rolls around? We bathe to wash away our bad luck in that one."

15: Our muses are stuck in a broken elevator together.
"This is terrible. Terrible, I tell you!" Lu Han shook his fist as he paced frantically back and forth in the elevator, increasingly becoming more and more worried with each passing second. Terrible situations usually brought out his dramatic side. "There is no way out until someone finds us. What if we're never found?"
He gasped and then dropped to his knees, hands covering his face as he just realized a horrible thing. "What if there's a fire and we're trapped in here?! I don't want to die in a fire!"

"Is this even legal?" Lu Han questioned from the passenger's seat. It was pretty late-- the vehicle's clock read 12:30 A.M. His parents would be furious had they discovered he was not in bed, sleeping like he should be. Plus, it was a school night. He found that he didn't function well in school on little sleep. Ah, how he hated high school sometimes."Trust me, I've done this many times and only once I've gotten in trouble for this." Lucas shot Lu Han a reassuring smile before sparing his opponents a glance. He then focused on the street in front of him and took off before Lu Han could shriek in horror."OH MY GOD SLOW DOWN YOU'LL HIT SOMETHING!!""DRIFTING IS VERY, VERY DANGEROUS. WHAT IF YOU FLIP THE CAR OVER?""DID YOU JUST RUN A RED LIGHT?!""Be quiet! You're distracting me." the irritated male hissed at a very hysterical Lu Han as he saw that someone was gaining up on him. Oh no, not on his watch. He--...He immediately sat up, gasping. Lu Han looked around at his surroundings and sighed in relief when he realized it was just a dream and that he was not in the hospital or in jail or anything.
driftingliu replied to your post:"Are you still awake?!
Lucas slowly reached for the coffee mug, taking it away from the other. “I think you’ve had enough coffee for now Lu Han. Maybe it’s time to get some sleep …”
"Sleep? An insane suggestion!" He gasped, looking repulsed that you would suggest such a thing. But he calmed down and sighed. "... yeah. You're probably right."

Kyungsoo sat upon the metal chair on the patio of a cafe, sipping at an espresso that filled him with a calmness but a subtle heightened awareness. His brown lock would shift in front of his eyes every so often as the crisp breeze pushed them to do so, causing his slender fingers to reach up and push the bangs back. The night sky was lit by the various city lights which out lit the humble stars; barely visible drab clouds rolling past every so often.
The man's eyes would trail over those who passed by on the sidewalk, taking in the sight before the brown orbs landed on a man. This man wasn't hard to find as he stuck out, the rest of the crowd having a sense of direction but he had been looking about in uncertainty of where he had been headed. His own brows furrowed in slight worry for the other man, though Kyungsoo wasn't from a place like this, he had lived enough years to know his way around and enough so to help another get home safe.
The notepad was quickly slipped out of his pocket as he wrote down what he would need. He took a final sip of the coffee, letting the taste resonate one last time before raising up and heading towards the other man. Once in a close enough distance, Kyungsoo gave a gentle poke to the other man's shoulder. His lips spread into a warm smile, hoping not to scare the other, as he held up his notepad for the other to read.
"Do you need some help?"
