In 1962, you couldn't just drink water out of a crusty coffee mug; you needed a specific glass for every internal emotion. This was the peak of "Institutional Glassware," designed to make your local hotel bar feel like a palace of sophisticated inebriation. It’s a roadmap for a very blurry Friday night.

i am drunk, happy holidays
Jenever was developed in the Netherlands during the 16th and 17th centuries. Originally used for medicinal purposes, the drink was flavored with juniper berries and became popular among Dutch soldiers and sailors.
British troops encountered jenever during wars in the Low Countries and later brought similar drinks back to England. Over time, this evolved into modern gin. Today, many historians consider Dutch jenever the ancestor of one of the world's most famous alcoholic beverages.
One Dutch drink helped inspire a global industry.

I went out drinking with Worf last night. Today I'm wishing you a lovely day filled with comfort, joy, and crushing of your enemies, but not so much as to cause any wars. Some mild enemy-crushing followed by helping them to sickbay is okay. Oh my, blood wine is strong stuff. emojis: black heart, blue heart, masked, spoon
I just wanted to get ready to go see Hadestown in peace but noooooo, Mack (and to a lesser extent, Sam) is going to be the reason the Sharks are gonna need PR training and stranger danger training once the off season ends 😭😭
