So I’ve been thinking about uploading some of my collages for a while but have been hella scared to actually do it, because people seeing your art is haaaaard. After some gentle prodding from @drinkball and @writhe, I decided to take the plunge. 

I made these collages last December when I was placed in the psych ward for suicidal ideation. These collages were literally what kickstarted my will to live. At the time I was grappling a lot with the relationship between my body, my mental illness, and my gender identity. Together with my prose piece “The Ballad of the Bearded Beauty”, these collages represent different aspects of that conflict.

11. Do you ever count your steps when you walk?

no and i feel like the people who do this in real life are the same people who've figured out exactly how many steps it takes to hatch a pokemon egg

the romcoms you pay like fifteen fucking dollars to get into because someone is forcing you to go and then you have to buy snacks and then you watch the first five minutes of it and you realize you've already seen this movie but with different white people last time
