#Repost • @gabedrinksworld If there’s one thing I learned during our time in Arizona, it’s that desert climate is no joke!Temperatures that eclipse 100°F are the norm from May thru October. Adding to the fact that Phoenix receives the most sunshine of any major city on Earth, it’s safe to say it is HOT. 🥵 Thankfully water misters and ice cold beer are found on most patios in the area! @azwildernessdtphx second location is in the heart of downtown Phoenix and the majority of their seating is outside in the beer garden which is nicely designed to accommodate a large crowd. They even have a full bar on the patio as well! Their beers range from lagers and blonde ales, to IPAs going up to triples, and a few sours on tap as well! La Ciudad, what their beertender referred to as their most popular IPA, is a hazy with Citra and Mosaic hops. While it is not reinventing the wheel (nor is it trying or needing to), it is a clean and smooth IPA throughout with a rightfully popular hop profile. Peaches & Cream is a double milkshake IPA that is not as sweet as described but its mouthfeel is consistent with the style its in. Don’t Fu%k It Up is the beer that is perfect for the constantly warm weather down there! A blonde ale that is brewed with 100% Arizona grown and malted grains and local honey. A 20oz pour of this is just about as solid and refreshing as one could ask for! Arizona Wilderness houses a great space in DTPHX! It is conveniently located where you are within walking distance of many other food and drinking spots in the area. It is easy to spend hours exploring.
