When Roxas was still a kid that stumbled over correct pronunciation and the best part of his day was recess, someone had given him a shiny bead to look after while the other played on the monkey bars.  He liked it so much that he said that he had lost it and placed the bead in his pocket.  The group looked for the bead until the teachers called them in from recess.  The blond made a promise to return the bead the next day but he then lost it.
