what’s the point of eating your feelings if you’re not tasting them?

you can choke down sorrow, coat your tongue in bitter jealousy, gorge yourself on anger. but what for, if you can’t even savor the flavor?

it’s pointless. all of it. sipping on melancholy doesn’t feel nearly as gratifying when the hints of lavender get lost in translation.

if you’re eating your feelings, at least let yourself taste them, goddamnit.
