I don’t know about you, but I find there is something so gratifying about earning your shower. Today I went for a hard, fast and hilly bicycle ride, then hit the home-gym for a tough lifting session. After I was finished I was actually a bit concerned about whether or not my trembling legs would carry me up the stairs! Thankfully, that is what railings are for!
I am finding that eating healthy is becoming easier and easier with every day that I stick to it. Last night I did cheat a bit on my eating plan, I had a Hersheys milk chocolate and almond bar. I felt so guilty afterwards. Mainly because I felt like I let myself down, I felt like I could do better, I am stronger then that. So, rather then dwelling on a slip up, I pushed myself so hard today, I was dripping sweat (I know tmi right?) It felt really good though, knowing that I made a positive choice, rather then sit and wallow in the fact that I ate something not so healthy, I burned some calories!
With summer just around the corner I am so excited to spend days at the beach and in the backyard with friends. I am so excited for bonfires and parties. I am excited for short shorts and bikinis, sundresses and wedges.
