“Breezeblocks remind me of sledgehammers, smash smash smash..” - Drisk (my Husby man-friend) So I’m in lurrrrve with #breezeblocks, I could write an essay about how rad they are, their stylish vintage aesthetics not to mention the environmental pros of their features, where Drisk proudly told the shop keep here in this fabulous Palm Springs decor store that he wants to sledgehammer every #breezeblock he sees 😂 what an a-hole. He was so passionately passive aggressive about it too. I asked him if he had negative childhood experience with #breezeblocks as this isn’t the Adam we know and love and his attitude was just shitty, funny, but shitty: “yep they’re shit” 😂 was his initial response 🤦🏼♀️ there’s just no give with this guy and breeze blocks, and you know who wants breeze blocks in her retro studio build don’t you (this guy, me...). Drisk settled down and told me that he thinks all the breeze blocks he’s seen in Australia are just yuck and dirty and not well kept and ugly and heavy and cement-y so that’s why he doesn’t like them. He’s now settled down more so and said he’d be ok if I had some in the cactus garden (I’m planning a cactus garden in the back corner of the yard 🌵) but not in the build 😩, otherwise he’ll sledgehammer them 🥴🤦🏼♀️. This dude really has a gripe with #breezeblocks, tacky 1980’s stained unkept breeze blocks though, not freshly painted happy breeze blocks... He does have cute nobbley knee caps though. Hoping one day he and breezeblocks can be friends again. #DriscollsDiary #PDUSATour (at Palm Springs, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxfpDLrASK1Ed347siZr45KSHM4w2Nl0UrLyic0/?igshid=1pfbip020n71a
