Drive It Day

The national day when one is supposed to take one’s classic out on the road had glorious weather. It coincided with the need to go to Sheffield so we definitely did Drive It, where “It” was Molly.

140 motorway miles were dispatched by the Midget without trouble - though driver and passenger were gently baked with the hardtop on. In the evening, Molly was rendered topless and given some unaccustomed serious exercise on Peak District hills, which she dispatched enthusiastically (and noisily). To make up for earlier, the occupants were blast-chilled by cool spring air.
