A hands on look this time of the @adidas Futurecraft 4D. I got to see them in person back in Sept during the #drivenbyGermanDesign Exhibition @qmgallery_alriwaq. A sample was on loan from the adidas AG Archive. No object handler holding the pair this time! The first thing I noticed in hand was its weight, it’s not as light as it looks or anywhere near Ultraboost light. A majority of that weight comes from the @carbon printed midsole, which when I put hand pressure on, is quite firm. I didn’t put them on feet so I can’t give you detailed feedback on comfort and responsiveness, but I’ll get back to you when my pair comes through. There’s full length conti rubber soles with no perforations, unlike the perforations seen on Boost tech sneakers with conti soles. The PK upper is reminiscent of the UB1.0 and despite the upcoming White/Ash Green colour-way, I prefer this. I’ll do a more thorough review of these once I get mine. For those lucky enough to be living in NYC adidas made them available again via the adidas app, back on the 5th of Feb. Prices on @stockx are dropping and it’s worth noting that the women’s sizes are cheaper and are exactly the same sneaker. You just have to go a full size up from your US size, for example a men’s US10 is a women’s US11. A s/o to another resident sneaker-head/ nmd addict @moth_man_ for giving us a hands on look at his pair. (at Doha)
