A nickel plated revolver and 50 cents in coppers was stolen when the drug store of J. Skinner and Son, 326 Wellington street, was broken into last night. Entrance was made by smashing a window in the front door with a stone.

Clinton McCurdy was sentenced to 40 days in jail and fined $25 and costs or 10 days for driving while drunk, driving dangerously, and driving while his license was suspended. He was convicted last week. He had a previous conviction for driving while drunk.
For 12 convictions of forgery, John G. Huntley was given to years in penitentiary. He had a record.
Horace Rutledge was fined $35 and costs or 30 days for operating a betting house. He asked the court to return records showing $140 in bets had been taken in one day ‘My employer will want them,’ he said, added he was paid $5 a week by a man named ‘Johnson’ to operate the business.
‘You tell your employer to come down here and get them,’ said Magistrate Hossack. ‘We will be very glad to see him.’
