So pleased to get to celebrate this absolute gem's upcoming record with her this past weekend. If you don't know @marielbuckley has an album release show in Calgary on May 4th and a new single out today "One Time Asking". We cowrote the title track of the album "Driving in the Dark" together with Grant Davidson. Just listening to a work tape I found on my phone from when @marielbuckley And @slowleavesmusic and I wrote "Driving I the Dark" together in a snow covered cabin in the Manitoba wilderness. Mariel is going to be releasing a studio version on her upcoming album also titled "Driving in the Dark" ! I am going to be releasing alive version we performed for our songwriting peers in the cabin later that night after writing this. So this is just a little clip from literally moments after we wrote it but you get the idea. Also.....I'm STILL driving through this snowy mountain mess!!!!
