Gingerstar cheers Comfreykit on as they play in puddles for the first time.
Snipfade (father) chides Comfreykit unfairly, but brother Whistlekit defends her.
Moon 4:
Comfreykit is worried about becoming an apprentice, and is told by her father and mother, Marigoldclash, that it won't be so bad.
Comfreykit sneaks into the warriors' den, but is chased out by Greenchasm.
It is revealed that Whistlekit only likes to play with Comfreykit because he's shy, but feels brave with his sister.
Moon 6:
Comfreypaw becomes apprenticed to Gingerstar!
Moon 7:
Gingerstar teaches Comfreypaw how to swim, and is proud of them.
Gingerstar wants to speak to Snipfade about something.
Moon 10:
Marigoldclash and Snipfade had another litter: Shingingkit, Streakkit, Boragekit, Ripplekit, Hillkit
Moon 12:
Snipfade wants to get to know Gingerstar better. Meanwhile, Marigoldclash tells Comfreypaw that she's too busy to talk, but Whistledart suggests that she seems lonely.
Moon 13:
Comfreypaw is named Comfreyflight (their named a moon after Whistledart after being delayed due to greencough).
Marigoldclash feels like she's not enough for anyone.
Moon 14:
During a two-warrior patrol, Comfreyflight and Whistledart are attacked by a dog. Whistledart risks his life, and is killed.
Moon 15:
Comfreyflight begs StarClan to give her brother back.
Moon 16:
Comfreyflight becomes the mentor to Flitpaw.

Streakfern and Comfreyflight chase a dog off.

Streakfern asks Comfreyflight to go on a walk with them.
