i was surprised by how current it was! (dress to impress mentioned!!!!)

really really funny seeing people be like "yeah i hated flowerys guts but he grew on me in the end." if im being honest i thought he was amazing from the getgo pretty much. anime sequence was genuinely jawdropping and i think the voice messages are so so so so funny. Sorry to keep you waiting, princess < magnificent. HERE I COME SANFRANCISCOOOOO

i think part of it is that there are definitely fewer people (that i follow at least) with like. the shoujo soul. or at least fewer ppl who engage with otome type of stuff. he really plays with that sort of thing so well. also trying to replace rudy is so fun! Hey Guys! I Think I Found A Glue!

ok maybe im reading too much into it bc i watched the utena movie recently but it really was soooooooo interesting. prince to princess huh........ and a princess (per flowery) as someone who is kept waiting... who is charmed and helped and trapped. yayyyy yay yay (and susie being lovestruck this chapter was so freaking cute? amazing trio interactions as always. )

i want krusielle to happen as badly as the next guy but it really will be so interesting to see how ralsei fits into the new dynamic, if at all. if everyones happy in the lightworld they dont even need fantasy/escapism anymore......

the flowers were also so fun! i found them to be very charming :] yay blellow! im a little glad they couldnt stick around though bc theyre pretty like. big characters and had a lot going on.

ik other games have done this before but the 'hangout' section was a really good way to like flesh out these limited time characters without also clogging up the sotry

he really never gave any explanation on why it was japanese huh. in the end i made my peace with it by like... one half-baked excuse (utena themes) plus another half-baked excuse (touhou themes? idk enough about touhou) = a sort of ok excuse for thing japan. idk
