Public notice: Broadacst violation
In accordance with Metropolis City Ordinance #251-67, a fine has been levied against the following Audio Broadcast Station(s): WDRD Metropolis
In regular circumstances, this violation would be handled by the Metropolis Broadcast Authority. However, because of the nature of the violation and the inclusion of the potentially harmful audio recordings of Android #57821, the enforcement of this ordinance will be a joint operation between the Broadcast Authority and the Droid Patrol.
The Droid Patrol is required to open joint operations to public comment. The public may submit their comments here.
On the rights and responsibilities of speech
On behalf of the Ministry of Droids, the Droid Patrol would like to take a moment to talk about speech. As you know, the Ministry of Droids has taken the unprecedented step of allowing the android community a measure of free speech. While there are some within the cabinet who considered this move to be ill advised, we have seen that this has resulted in such cultural works as the Wondaland Electric Orchestra. We encourage the android community to continue pursuing the higher arts. We also would like to encourage the a android community to consider unrestricted speech to be a privilege, and to exercise care that the aforementioned speech uplift society. Please refrain from the broadcast of any material that is seditious or rebellious. The Droid Patrol will be working with radio stations to identify and dispose of such material as soon as possible. We appreciate your compliance.
On the nature of the so-called "Droid Rebel Alliance"
In recent weeks, you may have noticed news bursts regarding the so-called "Droid Rebel Alliance". The Ministry of Droids as well as the Droid Patrol have also noticed these news bursts, and are disappointed at the amount of misinformation contained therein.
Some of these news broadcasts have characterized this group as a major threat to our stability and our way of life. If one were to believe these broadcasts, one would think that the "Droid Rebel Alliance" was about to disrupt and destroy the very fabric of our society.
Other broadcasts would paint this group as self-styled heroes, who will somehow "rescue" the android community from their human "oppressors".
The truth is that we have no evidence that this so called "Alliance" is anything more than a group of delinquent un-assigned androids using hacking scripts bought at illegal cyber-marketplaces to attempt to make a name for themselves. They believe that by eschewing their registration numbers that they are able to evade our investigators. They are wrong. We will find them
Be assured, this group of malcontents are not a threat
As the Ministry of Droids and the Droid Patrol return to full staffing, we request that the included poster be circulated widely. Unfortunately, due in no small part to the furlough of a number of staff members at the Droid Patrol, Droid Control centers as well as within the Ministry of Droids itself, the Cindi Mayweather (Reg # 57821) crisis has worsened.
Please be assured that we will be resuming all efforts locate and apprehend Android #57821, as well as any accomplices. As always, if you have any information as to her whereabouts, please contact the droid patrol with any new information.
The continued investigation into the Neon Valley Street incident
The Ministry of Droids and the Droid Patrol are continuing the investigation into the Neon Valley Street incident. Due to the emergence of new evidence, Officer Michelle Gavinson has been placed on paid administrative leave while her role in the incident is investigated

Because of increased tensions, the Droid Patrol will be hosting additional Droid Patrol, Droid Control and You sessions within the Neon Valley Street District. New days and times will be posted on community notice boards.
The Ministry of Droids has approved changes to the fee structure for Bounty Hunters. You will be receiving details in your Bounty Pads, but most hunters will see a reduction in per diem and an increase in their capture bonuses
While this is not strictly within the jurisdiction of the Droid Patrol, the family of Sir Anthony Greendown has asked us to share that Sir Greendown has been admitted to Serenity's Rest Rehabilitation Center. While the circumstances around his disappearance remain unclear, it seems he is suffering from some long lasting effects. Sir Greendown will be out of the public eye during his recover
