The Droid Patrol would like to remind members of the community to be alert for potentially seditious and propagandistic releases such as the one noted here.
True citizens are directed to assist the Droid control and Droid patrol in ensuring that such material never makes it into the hands of those who are susceptible to the call of these so-called freedom movements and rebellions.
A large amount of the critical discourse surrounding Janelle Monáe has focused on the question of why she hasn’t been more successful. I mean, sure, she’s got a major label record deal, is one of only a handful of black women to run her own record label, is one of the most critically acclaimed artists working, and is making a good living while making art according to her own vision and nobody else’s, but her best-performing album only hit #5 in the charts, so obviously she’s doing something wrong. And looking at her work and her career, I think I know what her problem is: she’s never had a white male science fiction fan whose only credentials for writing about music are having co-authored a book about They Might Be Giants write a detailed guide to her work.
An update on the continued search for Android #57821
The Droid Patrol, on behalf of the Ministry of Droids and Droid Control continues to search for Android #57821 (alias Cindi Mayweather). We believe that she is suffering from serious malfunction and may be a danger to herself and to others. We have been made to understand that unauthorized audio recordings, allegedly made by Android #57821, have surfaced. The Ministry of Droids is unable to confirm the veracity of such claims, nor can they guarantee the safety of these recordings. If you receive one of these recordings, please forward the unopened file to your local Droid Patrol office for analysis and disposal as soon as possible. Your safety is our highest concern.
As the Ministry of Droids and the Droid Patrol return to full staffing, we request that the included poster be circulated widely. Unfortunately, due in no small part to the furlough of a number of staff members at the Droid Patrol, Droid Control centers as well as within the Ministry of Droids itself, the Cindi Mayweather (Reg # 57821) crisis has worsened.
Please be assured that we will be resuming all efforts locate and apprehend Android #57821, as well as any accomplices. As always, if you have any information as to her whereabouts, please contact the droid patrol with any new information.
The continued investigation into the Neon Valley Street incident
The Ministry of Droids and the Droid Patrol are continuing the investigation into the Neon Valley Street incident. Due to the emergence of new evidence, Officer Michelle Gavinson has been placed on paid administrative leave while her role in the incident is investigated

Because of increased tensions, the Droid Patrol will be hosting additional Droid Patrol, Droid Control and You sessions within the Neon Valley Street District. New days and times will be posted on community notice boards.
The Ministry of Droids has approved changes to the fee structure for Bounty Hunters. You will be receiving details in your Bounty Pads, but most hunters will see a reduction in per diem and an increase in their capture bonuses
While this is not strictly within the jurisdiction of the Droid Patrol, the family of Sir Anthony Greendown has asked us to share that Sir Greendown has been admitted to Serenity's Rest Rehabilitation Center. While the circumstances around his disappearance remain unclear, it seems he is suffering from some long lasting effects. Sir Greendown will be out of the public eye during his recover
Droid Control and Droid Patrol will be conducting a firmware upgrade on all their hovercams in order to make them more accurate, and more secure against hacking

Upgrade of service alert for Alpha Platinum 9000 (female)
Due to recent new information regarding Cindi Mayweather (Reg # 57821), theMinistry of Droids has upgraded the voluntary service appointment for Alpha Platinum 9000 (female) androids to a Mandatory Service Alert.
Please proceed to the nearest Droid Control Center as soon as possible for service. Should you fail to do so, you will be detained by a Droid Patrol officer and transported to your local Droid Control Center.
