TUNE ON IN WITH THE HEART FOR’A STARTER WITH GRAMMY !! if you’d like more info: GOOGLE DOC and APPEARANCES EXPLAINED !! feel free to also consider this an invitation to IM land for Plotting !!
“Tell me, where is the shepherd for this lost lamb?”
The sweet song of GERTRUDE LAWRENCE plays out over the horizon-- the sharpest of contrasts, considering the otherwise barren state of the surrounding land. No beings, no other droids, only the subtle sand cloud billowing from behind a forever-turning wheel... and though the source of said tune does appear to be so very alone, her determination is all but set: forward.
“There's a somebody I'm longing to see; I hope that he turns out to be...”
and OFF SHE GOES-- zooming along a path seemingly mapped, considering how quickly she moves along, and a couple sharp zips suggest she’s at least following something... until she’s counteracting momentum to keep from ramming her golden sound horn into the trunk of some dried up plant... funny, she scans the object with a swift up and down of her horn, before settling on a hole at the bottom. A single tone arm flexes out, to give the wood a good tap, tap, tap, until surprisingly-- a teensy creature does come out to see what the ruckus is.
“Someone who'll watch over me.”
Small, lizard-esque, and staring up at Grammy with beady black eyes, while Grammy flexes her neck so she can get a better look at her newly discovered little friend... when the lizard twitches, Grammy rolls on backwards to the sound of a record scratching... which, unfortunately, causes the little animal to frighten and run back off into it’s tree trunk...
Drats.
The music stops, for a moment. Grammy tentatively stretches out her arm to give another tap, tap, tap-- but no little lizard came out for a visit. No, and there was no new path to suggest it’d just ran off for a game of hide and seek-- she was alone, again, as always... and after her horn drooped in disappointment, Grammy decided not to waste any more time, to roll right past that tree: now at nearly a third of the initial speed she’d been wheeling...
But, even if she has to go on alone, at least she starts her song once more--
“I'm a little lamb who's lost in the wood; I know I could always be good... Someone who'll watch over me~”
