I'm a little late to announce the #Hamsterofthemonth winners but here they are. #Jack and #Ribbit had a close vote that was only split by 3 votes in Jack's favour. To be fair as our oldest hammo in house she does totally deserve it. She's a very good girl and has even put up with my lack of breakfasts the past few mornings. Naughty hamster was unsurprisingly a steal by #Ribbit who swept the category. Something about a runaway hammo I think everyone can relate to 😂 Ribbit is now in a bin and we have curbed his escapes haha. Thanks for voting and we will catch you again next month. The #DroidsURLooking4 have been heading home, and I only have four left including #Lux who is staying here as my keeper! It's very exciting. Ronnie will also be moving out a bit later this week to head to her amazing retirement home and I am so thrilled. We are actively working on breeding here, we did have one pregnancy (Ru) but unfortunately the litter was reabsorbed. She'll be given a break before I try again so hopefully Zyggy and Marvel will have pups in the meantime. It's just over a month away to our wedding and things are busy! The stages of a flop as presented by #Rey with cameo from #Artoo! The #DroidsURLooking4 are almost 4wks now and growing like weeds. Today is busy - our engagement photoshoot is thus evening and we have plenty of things to get done in the day both in preparation for the shoot and for adoptions this weekend. Breton is brighter than yesterday but still retaining fluid unfortunately. We will see how things go. When the apple stick from @snootandstubco is just soooo good 💗 #Lux from #DroidsURLooking4 was super into it. So were her siblings. Lux will be the one to stay at SBH. Rey will go to another breeder and Wicket will go on contract. I did send out more emails to adopters. Last but certainly not least from the #DroidsURLooking4 is little miss #Lux, an ED yellow (or melanisic yellow perhaps) recessive dappled carrier female and my hopeful keeper! I am admittedly more into Star Trek than Star Wars and so was rather picky about names. But, Hamdad found a character named Lux which totally excites the Latin nerd in me so Lux is it! If I end up keeping the other girl I'll likely swap their names 🙈. Ronnie and Chewie certainly knocked it outta the park with this entire litter.
