Okay, why do you think that Tom's mouth looks like it's being pulled to the side by an invisible string when he says an L sound?
You know, I have no clue nonny. I’ve thought about it and I can’t think of why he does the lip droop. It’s funny because it’s not only an L sound, it’s also the D sound as well (which is why I think he does it so noticeably when he says his surname). I had a really good ask I did about it a while back, but I can’t find it. I can find this one here:

But it doesn’t answer the question, it simply ruminates on it. I do know that, as that ask implies, it’s less noticeable when it’s a filmed role, and more when it’s interviews and stage roles. Whether it’s just a weird tic or a medical thing, I have no clue! Sorry I am not much help lol.
