The embroidery is matted and framed and ready to be gifted! I do think it loses a little charm when you can’t touch it but boy does it look good
And for your amusement: front and back. I must have used more than 50 thread colors in this.
Fun details of the massive sampler embroidery I just finished. Really pleased with this one, hope it makes the recipient happy.
Finished stitching. This took me about two years, on and off. I’m going to try and wash it gently and let it dry flat tonight, maybe that will help.
Boots helpfully standing on my embroidery as I plan colors for the last 6 half-circles!
Fun details and more progress. I think I’m going to finish the entire interior before I do the edge half-circles. Question: should I do rainbows or tone-on-tone like the whole circles?
Finished this little sampler! All worked in Pearl cotton. I really enjoyed using color-changing thread in this.
