4/14: Favorite study beverage?
I’m a big fan of tea and sweet coffees. I used to really like the energy drink Bang! but I try to avoid energy drinks now unless I really “need” them.

Hello everyone! Today I managed to come on Tumblr way earlier than yesterday and I’m kind of happy because it’s still 7pm which means there’s still plenty of time to get stuff done!
I have already done one 5-minute Drops session for Chinese and I finished my first (and only) physical Chinese workbook that I got through school. There’s still some listening and speaking exercises left in the workbook but I’ve mostly used it for the words, radicals and some basic stroke orders.
Right now, I’ve turned on my laptop to finally enroll in the Coursera courses I want to take this Summer. I haven’t gotten myself to do it yet so I really hope I will do it today!
Aside from this, I haven’t done much yet today. I did start a new K-drama (Psychopath Diary) and I will probably end up watching at least one more episode of it today.
So, for today I still have the following planned:
Enrolling in the free Coursera courses
Duolingo Chinese lessons
Going through more Hanzi Characters (I’m currently at #298)
Doing another Drops Chinese session
Reviewing HSK 1 words through the HSK Academy 1 video
Hopefully I will be able to get this all done and I hope everyone’s doing well and making progress <3
So a while ago I recommended the app Drops for language learning, and since then I’ve found two words while using the app that were translated incorrectly. Like, they showed a picture of an arm (the part of the body) while giving the word for the verb “to arm”. I know it’s only two words but if this kind of mistake can get through it makes me think there are more mistakes in this app (and honestly they look like the kind of mistakes you’d get from using a machine translation).
So if you’re using this app, back it up with other resources and don’t be afraid to double check anything that doesn’t look right. I’ve emailed their support team about these mistakes and I’ll let you know when I get a response.

Another glimpse inside of my bullet journal. I did a handwriting spread in purple and wrote down the Family Vocabulary post by @miharusblog. I love them. I put it in my bullet journal because it the book I’ll be carrying around most often and it’s nice to have in case I want to quiz myself. The bigger book is filled with words I learned on the Drops app on my phone.

Hello everyone, I hope everyone’s doing well today!! I’m tuning in quite late today (it’s 11pm as I’m writing this) but it’s mainly because I actually managed to get quite a lot done already!
After waking up I did a 5 minute Drops session of Chinese and then I read for about 40 minutes. I listened to HSK Academy 1 two times to review the words and I also have done my Duolingo lessons today. I’ve spent around an hour going through #232 - #297 of the list of most used Chinese Hanzi characters and just now I finished my second Drops session of the day.
It’s been a pretty productive day so I’m proud of myself!!
As I’m not planning on sleeping yet, I might spend some time going through more Hanzi and enrolling in a few Coursera courses (I still haven’t done this).
Hope you have a good day, evening or night! And be proud of even the smallest progress you’ve made today <3

These are the words I reviewed today on the Drops app.

My language learning app is taking a strong stance on the great “do carrots help you see in the dark” debate.
