Woman2Woman: I hate to be rude, disrespectful or perceived as insensitive; But I’ve always had the personality that won’t allow Anyone to back Me into a corner. I’m very cut & dry; I mean what I say & I say what I mean. When I ask for space give it to Me. You can’t push someone then expect to dictate how hard they push back. For Every Action there is a Reaction. I had one of the most irritating yet insightful conversations this evening. Irritating because I was forced to look at a boy I used to know and insightful because I was forced to remember & examine the girl I used to be. I don’t think it was either of Our faults; We were products of Our environment. I remember when the lightbulb turned on and it was clear to Me that it was time to go. No money, no clothes, no destination, yet it was time to go. The misery and abuse was stifling; I didn’t know where I was going but I knew it was better than where, what & who I was leaving. I had to step outside of Myself this evening & remember that’s not My life anymore but it made Me wonder how much subconscious trauma I witnessed or endured in order for Me to be confused as to what love really was? Never go back to what broke you; accept the lesson & keep it moving. The longer You dance with the devil the longer You remain in hell. Thirty years ago what was done to Me was a bitch move but what should I have expected?
