my precious barbarian, Mahtab!! An elk wildheart from the Underdark, she was brought up in a Seldarine Drow community where she eventually started acting as protection for Eillistraee’s devoted on their trips to the surface, as well as an artisan of clothing and armor.
Mahtab is also completely, utterly devoted to Lae’zel and hopes to fight against Vlaakith’s tyranny by her side.

2. Describe their tent setup! What’s on the outside? The inside?
Postion: unlike Badb, Mahtab is not worried about being cornered. it’s hard to be afraid when you have a giant hanmer and the ability to plow people over when you rage. now, unlike Lae’zel, she doesn’t care how close the others are either. it won’t stop her from talking without lowering her voice before falling asleep or holding back on other noises that may be occurring within.
Outside: the tent itself is shaped like Shadowheart’s and similarly distinguished but not extravagant. it’s coloured with teals and purples as well as deep blue detailing. it comfortably fits two people and sometimes an owlbear baby.
objects outside include: a sewing kit for when companions need repairs, little trinkets they’ve picked up, elk horns she found, and bags full of sand she uses as weights.
Inside: Mahtab doesn’t prefer to sleep in their tent when given the option to be by the fire with a view of the stars, so really all she kept inside was a bedroll. When she begins sleeping with her partner regularly she picks up a second roll to lay next to hers but they spend more time in Lae’zel’s tent anyway.
16. What do they do for fun, when not adventuring? What are their hobbies?
Mahtab’s passions are really crafting/repairing clothing and exercising. She began embroidering on rags and scraps she found and cleaned to have something to make in her downtime. She made some specifically for the companions: one of the owlbear in a field of flowers for Karlach, a deep rothé adorned in night orchids for Shadowheart, a dragon with one stone eye for Wyll.
She love love loves to test her strength and see how far she can go. Her jumping abilities are unbelievable and she’s always challenging herself to see how high she can get in one leap. Often when she does planks or pushups she’ll beg a companion to act as more weight for her. Lae’zel particularly likes acting as the weight for hip thrusts/bridges.
More recently she becomes interested in cooking. She’s been to the surface before but never had such access to so many foods and any time she tastes something new she’ll want to recreate newfound dishes and add her favorite surface ingredients. She particularly likes mint, cheeses, grapes, and tomatoes. She dislikes the wine on the surface though, much preferring mushroom wine, beer, and highsun liqueur.
