Yesterday's drowgust topic was pact, and I recalled this one WIP I had. Does it still count if the pact-person is of drowic descent? Anyways! I wanted to portray the scene in which the roguelock, Laestis, found out about the other creature dwelling in her mind. She made a pact with her spirit. Vest (as she is a kalashtar), but it seems there is something up there. Someone who knows about said spirit. Someone who, whenever she loses contact with him, it's there to lend a hand. Or two. That being presented itself as Alieae. It appeared on her dream as a pair of giantic hands and a sphere of light as an offering. The first time, she was scared, but desperate to find Vest, and accepted it. The second time she was no longer terrified. She had a job to get done.
Art I drew for @eternal-jinx 's drow twilight cleric Phelix King. I did this for day 15 of drowgust but definitely fell off of finishing this because of work, but got it down now! I'm definitely proud of how this one came out!
A book of spookycute dark elves, drow, dunmer and dökkálfar.
My friend Fran is kickstarting her new art book and OH MAN it is good stuff. If you wanna see some lovely rpg inspired dark elf art then pls check her and the campaign out! <3
always my greatest pleasure workign with and for my lovely @ShandrizVoDur, today coming up with a tasteful pinup of her half-drow ranger Ehlana J'nor, obsessed with stars <3 <3
Day 5 of Drowgust, with Trinket as the topic!
I drew my drow heritage tiefling, Vest, who has an obsession with shinies and the such. He’s holding his own crystallized eye. Crystal corruption started in there for him, and there was a brief period of time where the eyeball was the only crystallized bit. And, huh, he just carefully plucked it out, knowing the rest of his eyesocket would start sprouting crystals soon enough
Anyways! Vest is an absolute brat and he knows he’s doing this just to creep people out.
So, the topic for day 7 of Drowgust was shield. 3 days late, but- Here’s my piece for it! His name is Koras’sael, or as my players have been calling him, Koko. He’s a cleric (domain of protection) cleric!
I wanted to go for something more dynamic for this piece, and I had this idea of Koras’sael (who was trained by the Sworn Shields, an elite dwarven group) making some unusual use of his own shield. Even if he’s a member of the Remyran knighthood, the Dharka Savada, he’s still not exactly the most lawful guy in the shed. He enjoys having a good time. And sleeping. And running away from any responsability!
Anyways, he’s a NPC in my campaign, and one that has been appearing way more than I had expected. They saved his life earlier in the campaign, and it’s just one of these characters that ends up developing as the game goes on!
With a few days of delay, but here is my entry for Drowgust's day 12, cyberpunk! I drew my drow paladin, Areel! I ran a poll to decide between him or Vest, and he was the winner for it. And it was pretty challenging, to be fair! I had only a rough sketch of his cyberpunk version, so most of his design is improvised. I don't know exactly what'd be his lore on a modern fantasy setting- Maybe he belonged to some awful enemy nation and ended up improving his ways? Maybe he's sort of an ex-soldier or sorts! Anyways, he's still a good boy. I kept the scarring and gave him some badass prosthetic where his thorny arm would usually be. And added an explosion, you can't go wrong with explosions
