1. Have you ever met someone who claimed that they can see/feel ghosts and spirits? Yup! I know someone who can sense spirits and demons who have ill intentions. Another person I met was able to see auras around people, that was pretty cool too. 

2. What’s your favorite ghost story? So many, how do I choose? I like to talk about a personal experience where I saw my first ghost. A couple years ago I woke up in the middle of the night to see an astral blue figure sitting in an invisible chair just a couple feet away from my bed. It was an older lady who seemed from WW2 era, with a purple hat (even though there was no colour I somehow knew it was purple??) and a long thick purple button-up dress. She was knitting. You’d think I’d be scared, but for some reason I instead felt great calm wash over me as her and I looked at each other. She smiled, and even though nothing was said I sensed the words “Go back to sleep.” She felt incredibly familiar, and as I drifted off back to sleep a name popped in my head “Great Aunt Marie”. A week later I asked my grandfather about Aunt Marie and what she looked like. He said “She liked to wear hats and nice dresses, and she loved to knit.” The person I saw was my Great Aunt Marie: someone who I never met, who died long before I was born, who died when my mother was just a child. I think she was there to comfort me during exam time, or perhaps because she was lonely. Regardless, it was a nice experience that didn’t bother me at the time, but thinking back at it gives me quite an eery feeling.

3. Have you ever stepped in flood water before? No, but now that you mention it I’m curious (though I hope that never happens to me, for obvious reasons).

4. Have you ever been mistaken as the opposite gender? Yes...often, especially when I was a teen :’) Mostly from behind and by guys, cause of my broad swimmer shoulders and the comfy clothes I wear. The giveaway is when I turn around and you see the person’s “Oh shit, they have bewbs, they’re a female” face haha.

5. Do you believe in the supernatural? Yes!

6. What would your weapon be in a zombie apocalypse? Probably some sort of blade...perhaps a samurai sword? Like that badass chick in Walking Dead. The problem is I wouldn’t know how to use it properly and get killed haha. Either that or a crossbow. Though if it wasn’t for Walking Dead’s influence I would say a naginata (Japanese polearm) or spear, cause they are cool and have convenient reach and blade.

7. Are you the brave friend or the scared friend? Or are you somewhere in between? Ah, I’ve never really thought about it? Strong friend would be a better way to put it for me. I’m brave but not necessarily in the typical way, if that makes sense? A quiet and reserved type of brave who always there for others?

8. Are you the mom friend or the friend who’s the bad influence? Grandma friend. I’m there for the mom friend when they need help. I was the mom friend in high school then in college I somehow evolved into the grandma according to my friends haha. (But wait...now that I’m done college does that make me the great-grandma???)

9. Have you ever tried the “Bloody Mary” ritual with friends? No. No no no. I don’t like messing with spirits, regardless whether people say that ritual is bogus or not.

10. Would you rather get a nose piercing or a tongue piercing? Neither? I’m actually allergic to all metal piercings except gold, hence why I don’t have any piercings, so I guess a tongue piercing since it’s plastic or something, right? Plus it’d be fun to surprise people by sticking my tongue out XD

11. Have you ever gone ghost hunting? Nah, and I don’t really want to. Again cause I don’t want to mess with/bother spirits. Stepping into their territory and bothering/annoying them just doesn’t seem right to me. Also cause I can sometimes feel their presence (like a heavy weight and a smell in the air) and it kinda bothers me. Unless it’s ghost hunting for kind/gentle spirits then maybe, but other than that it’s a nope.

Kao-san, I’m super excited for spoopy skeletons too! Halloween is one of my fav...uh, holiday? What would the term be for it?? Some of the stores here already have their Halloween stuff out and it makes me happy :)
