Chronic illness life. TMI

Okay so, I had a flexible sigmoidoscopy a few months back. Checking for any abnormalities with my bowel. It came back clear so I was relieved.

I then get told I have an infection from the procedure. I finish my anti biotics and still experience problems so I book a follow up. I get told maybe I’m just prone to air.

I’m 26 I’ve never had anything like this before, so to be told that basically feels like I’m being brushed off. I think I’m going to ring Monday and just ask for a referral. I refuse to believe that I’m “just prone to air”.

I’m in discomfort and distress all the time. It’s okay for drs because they aren’t the ones experiencing it, and after all we’re all just numbers.

Finally an afternoon out of the cave. Even though it included giant shots in my back. Girls who are good at the dr get cheeseburgers and a fresh haircut.
