Checking her things one last time, Junhee stood up to her full height as she slung the rucksack over her shoulders; her boots all laced up and her jacket on as Ola looked at her with widened eyes. Checking the time on her watch that was bounded around her wrist, she pushed her brown locks back as she tapped her foot against the white tiled floor. “Jaerim-ah! Are you done? We should get a move on.”
“Someone was talking smack about you, long story short I spent a night in a cell.”
"Good thing you did because heaven's know I would've been in your place and I can't afford to do that." She shook her head, face scrunching at the thought of being in a cell and the many consequences that would follow suit. Hyejeong might have had a bit of boyish ways in her heart but she was an all around girly girl. She wouldn't survive one minute of being in a cell. "Thank you though, ahjussi, I should repay you." A smile overtook her features, giving him two thumbs up though her face brightened once she sparked up an idea. "I'm sure you've been stressed from all the saving people from fires, so how about I treat you to a day at the bath house. Release any tensions, you know!"
"You're doing so well without me."
Sandara shook her head and wore a bittersweet smile. “No, I just have to be brave by myself now, since you’ve got your own thing going.”
Do you ever wonder if aliens were real?
For the next five questions my muse can not tell a lie.
”Actually, I did happen to wonder that many times, but I’ve yet to make an assumption. I mean, it does make sense that somewhere in this huge galaxy of ours, and many others around there’s a planet like ours which allows life to form in it… but then again, why didn’t we make contact so far? I’unno, but I did wonder.”

"You were always the quiet one."
█ ▌ Holly wasn’t sure what possessed her to walk along the Gwangnaru Pedestrian Bridge during this weather. All the young scientist knew was that she needed a place to quietly think, to calm down, and recollect herself. She just didn’t expect for her feet to lead her here of all places. However, now that she was here, she couldn’t leave just yet. Not when this particular location held quite a significance to her in the past. So, as if her body remembered everything clearly, she walked until she came across the exact spot she nearly jumped off at.
█ ▌ Despite having a naturally bright personality and a constant smile on her face, things were not always as they appeared to be. Every time Holly came back to this specific location, she remembered all the difficulties she had experienced in her adolescent years. She often referred to these times as the ‘Dark Ages’, a moment of time where she was constantly plagued by darkness. As a child prodigy, she was subjected to constant bullying and torment from her peers while attending Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
█ ▌ Due to her young age and higher IQ, she was constantly harassed and outcasted by the older students. Although they were in the same academic institution, taking the same courses, and learning the same materials she was always excluded and shunned as if she had done something wrong. Her teenage years were a nightmare because of this, causing her to fall into a deep depression and having suicidal thoughts. When she finally met her breaking point just before receiving her master’s degree in 2009 she decided she wanted to end things. She needed an out.
█ ▌ The Gwangnaru Bridge had just opened that year and she had to admit the view on that bridge was spectacular. ‘At least I’ll see something beautiful in this world of darkness before I leave,’ she recalled why she choose this place. The location was serene and she found a sense of peace there. Even though she was already on the rail, ready to jump and end it all, she was stopped thanks to a bystander who gave her a moment of his time. He offered her word of comfort-- things she needed to hear yet not one thought to tell her. If it hadn’t been for him, she surely would have jumped off the bridged and died that day.
█ ▌ Taking a deep breath, the twenty-one year old took in the harsh, cold air. The temperatures weren’t freezing cold, but the wind chill was enough to burn her lungs. ‘It's always good to know I’m still alive; breathing,’ she told herself as she bundled up behind her scarf. God was good to her, having allowed Jaerim to enter her life and talking some sense to her. It’s been some time since the two last spoke to each other, no thanks to her job at S.H.I.E.L.D., she often wondered what the ahjussi was up to. ‘Probably saving poor teenage girls who were ready to off with themselves,’ she rolled her eyes at the dark humor.
█ ▌ Little did she know she was not alone on the bridge. Just as she was about to turn back around, to go back to where she once came, she accidently bumped into someone’s chest. ‘Umf’ she muffled behind her scarf. Dipping her head into a slight bow she immediately apologized to the unknown person.
█ ▌ ❝ Mianhae, ❞ she spoke apologetically. ❝ I didn’t think anyone was behind me so I-- ❞ was all she could say before she suddenly gasped at whom she unexpectedly ran into. ❝ Jaerim oppa! You were always the quiet one, so didn’t even notice you,” she exclaimed. ❝ Pray tell, what are you doing here? ❞
"We're going to get caught!"

❝With that attitude we might as well do so. Think positive! Or else of course we'll get caught.❞
"I can't believe you forgot."
"This can’t be happening…" Gikwang kept muttering to himself as he frantically searched through his backpack, finally grasping the item he had been looking for - or so he thought. His expression eased back into a relaxed smile but not for long; he was quick to realize that yes, it was fairly similiar in its shape but not quite what he expected. "Ah, damn it! I must’ve left it at home.” He let out a whine of agony, stealing a glance at the other male’s face but quickly averting his gaze elsewhere in that shameful stance of his. It was also an act of silent apology.
"I came all the way here to bring that book you asked for and…" He replaced the rest of his sentence with a loud sigh because nothing else could convey his current feelings better. "I’m so sorry, Jaerim-ssi! I made you come here and we even scheduled this meeting a few weeks ago… Oh, I’m so embarrassed!" A frustrated huff broke through his lips.
