May I request dating hcs for Dredge?

Despite being an amalgamation of human body parts amongst other things, its got some semblance of what you could consider emotions. It mostly feels hatred, seeing as it was born into a world that never wanted it and is merely a tool of Stamper and the Entity

You can mark its interest piqued when somebody shows anything other than fear/hatred, though things wouldn’t be very pretty and it would initially take advantage of such moments in which it deems the person vulnerable

Though somebody that sees it as an animal or some mindless creature would be discarded rather quickly (unless it feels like toying with them…)

With its attention caught, Druanee would retort to stalking behavior while making sure not to be seen (very easy to disappear when you’re the Dredge). After enough observations and showing a lack of negative emotions, the person has now become its “pet” of sorts

Druanee goes as far as devouring Maurice once more, seeing as the first time it did this was to attract prey. This situation is somewhat different, but it’ll have the Entity forcing the creature to spit the poor horse back out

Stalking behavior turns into abductions, Druanee waiting outside the campfire like some predator waiting for its prey to leave the safe haven. It doesn’t have any negative intentions at this point, but it’s rather terrifying being kidnapped by the mini Entity

Initially it attempts to keep its person in its mansion, like a child too possessive of its new toy. Rather understandable when you consider who is basically its parent…

Whatever it feels, it's not love. It's mostly proprietorial. But as time goes by...

Boundaries are something that need to be discussed, because Druanee wants and wants and will take. It's extremely touchy and wil poke and prod all it can.

Druanee does learn to let go of their person, realizing that they always come back to it. And they come back with affection rather than hostility

It does not properly speak, but it attempts to form words with the voices of the victims within it. It mainly mimics its person’s words, piecing together phrases as best as possible. It even goes as far as trying to hold a conversation

Once again, Druanee holds so much hatred in it because of the circumstances that birthed it. So safe to say that it will be surprisingly caring of its person and have some kind of love. It’ll need to learn everything first, and it will need to learn how to deal with feelings of jealousy

Its negative feelings are especially enhanced if its person has any relationship with Haddie. It will attempt to sabotage any positive relationship its person has with anybody, but especially with Haddie

Druanee doesn’t realize it, but it is touch starved to the point of keeping a tight hold on their person if they decide to leave earlier than it anticipated

It even nuzzles and cuddles; surprising for such a creature. It appreciates being held, though it yearns for so much more to the point of having accidentally sucked its person into the void at least once

Kisses are also appreciated, though they mainly leave it stunned as it registers what just happened

Perhaps it even pretends to intentionally do that to get a scare out of its partner; it has its own version of a sense of humor and still does feed off of negative feeling

I imagine that Druanee is a bit of a hoarder and will literally collect almost anything. With this said, it has a collection of random items and would be willing to give up a few as offerings to its partner. Keep in mind, it eventually expects something back

There are some times however where it will specifically seek out something that will make its person happy, and the strange sensation that overcomes it once they’re filled with joy is more than enough to pay it back

It adores being admired, worshipped even. Words of praise definitely get to it after a while, maybe even enough to have it melt in one’s hold

Considering that everywhere it goes, it hears the wails and cries of the humans within it. The sounds do get overwhelming at times, so having its person speak to it helps calm the voices a bit

During trials in which Druanee is forced to face its person, it acknowledges them and makes sure the Entity knows this before it focuses its attention on the other survivors. It never really seeks out affections during a trial, but it enjoys being spiteful

Out of trials of course, it returns to its typical stalker behavior and awaits its person outside the campfire. Not exactly to spend time together, but mainly just to keep watch if the Entity has attempted anything on them
