Healing Candles & Stones: An Experiment Recently, because we always seem to have at least one or two people who are in need of healing, we added a regular healing working to our monthly Druid Moon rites.
Traveling with the Three Cranes Grove, ADF, Grove Flame for our annual Stay-At-Home ritual, Anagantios, we gave the Flame a chance to get out into nature :)
The candle is kindled from a Kildare flame, sacred to Brigid, and blesses the homes of our members each February.
Anagantios 2020
Our grove celebrates the Druid Moons (6th night after the new moon) with a ritual each month. The ones we celebrate are Gaulish, and each one has a different focus and a different working. My favorite of them as a priest is definitely Anagantios (or Stay at Home month). (more…)

"From floor to ceiling, From wall to wall, In all the cracks and crevices and corners, May this light warm and bless. And may it warm and bless All who visit or dwell here.”
-the 3CG Anagantios (“Stay-At-Home Moon”) prayer
Poseidon’s daughter calls to the sea
And the sea comes rushing, pressing, pounding
Drumming a rhythm upon the rocks
And Poseidon’s daughter smiles
Nursed with salt water at the bosom of the Mother
She inhales foam, and exhales sand
Forming with her breath the shifting beach
Upon which the grove stands and rests
Awaiting always the call of her father
She runs to his voice, and dives below
Sinking into the dark and cold
To her as welcoming as the womb
Poseidon’s daughter calls to the sea
Lost in trance and at one with the waves
Her words are carried on salt-laden breezes
And the sea calls back.

Tonight was our Druid Moon rite, which we celebrate each lunar month on the sixth night of the moon. I caught a good picture of the moon, and decided it was time to write a short prayer for the Druid Moon.
