He crawls into the room, looking around for any signs of his mama, he finds nothing, however, as he bumps into a table which in turn knocks down an empty glass, it starts falling and he just looks up at it, as if accepting his fate or something

Tiv goes wide-eyed and horrified as soon as they see what's happening. The entire world goes in slow motion as they bolt forward, smacking the glass midair and send it careening into the far wall.

Once the glass in no longer tumbling down on Charlie, they very carefully pick him up and inspect every inch of him, making sure he wasn't somehow hurt in any way but the thing that didn't even make contact with him.

When they finally see that he's fine, they sit with him and simply hold him and cry for a time. All their emotions tied in a knot after what just happened.
