IT IS FINISHED! After a whole month of work, with several hiccups along the way... Im glad that it turned out exactly like I imagined it to be 😊 shoutout to @eohjy for the drumset!! SWIPE RIGHT to see the whole journey!! - Picture 2: I didn't take a proper before photo so just imagine a set that was basically covered with tears like this. Thankfully the kick drum and the floor Tom were somewhat spared. - The rest is quite self-explanatory, instagram only let's me post 10 pictures so I can't post every step but these were the main movements! What you don't see is the crazy amount of sanding in between basically every single one of these photos. Hahahha. Working on my old #slingerland snare for upcoming recordings. Evened out, cut, and sanded the bearing edge. Replaced the throw-off. But I left all the old springs in the lugs because they give it a dusty, ghostly ring. #vintagedrums #drumrestoration
