I painted this by candlelight whilst working the 24 hour door at Revolver many moons ago. I then gifted it to @aaronbturner of the now defunct touring band Isis; unbeknownst to me at the time I'd name my daughter Isis years later. Anyway, the painting may have ended up trashed in the band life travels, who knows, but what you should know and discover is the music Aaron is creating now with SUMAC @sumacbandofficial. Their music is deeply unsettling and pummelling to the far majority of the planet; if grizzly bears became a 3 piece heavy metal band type thing, yeah, frikkin cuddly, but to me it gives great solace to absorb. Anyway, I dare you to at least search the YouTubes for a live version of "Hollow King" for starters so you can witness something that is truly beautiful cos it's very pure. And then, after you're finished weeping in a damp corner, go search out another polar opposite musical wonderland that is Mammifer, Aaron's wife @faithcoloccia playing otherworldly aural blissnessness.
