Lava, bubble - pretty much every lamp in the house was plugged in, lighting up their room in the Night Island. He found them soothing, something to stare out when thoughts crowded him. Dark thoughts. Letting him regroup, relax. He'd eaten plenty tonight gorged on many, many drunks. His old coping mechanism. By any vampires standards he was wasted. Sitting in the circle of lights, very symbolic that flicking the lava lamps so miniature bubbles formed. A human would have burnt retinas from gazing at them all as intently as he had been.
Daniel had gone out, no idea when he'd come back... If he's come back.
At somepoint he realised he was crying, touching his face was how said fledgling found him.

Strictly speaking if the death sleep applied it would be less than twenty four hours to spend (-So it'd stretch over two days living time for arguments sake-).*I'd write letters to a few people, put my house in order - to be received/sent after the fact. I'd probably not tell anyone of my impending demise. Somehow get Bianca, Marius and Daniel in the house at the same time. Then possibly in the same bed at once, so I could be on the last night surrounded by my loved ones. So not very likely minus any kind of explanation. So doomed to pick one over the other two, knowing that would indeed be their last ever goodbye. Even if they didn't realise it...*" Clears his throat. "Nicely depressing, thanks. Ask me about my sex life next time. Now I need this." Pouring a glass and then thinking better of it and swigging from the bottle instead.
